How many times a year do you accept students?
t We accept students twice per year.(For Spring and fall semesters)
How much is the application fee?
The application fee is 100,000KRW(100USD).
I am currently enrolled in the last year of my undergraduate program/high school. Can I still apply for graduate admission even though I have not yet earned a bachelor's degree/high school diploma?
Yes. As long as your bachelor's degree/high school diploma is conferred before the start of your intended first term at Seoul Tech, you are eligible for Seoul Tech International admission.
When you apply, you need to submit the most recent transcript and a certificate that proves your upcoming graduation.
If you are admitted, you have to verify the completion of your undergraduate/high school program within 15 days after their enrollment at Seoul Tech
Do I need to take a Korean or an English proficiency test?
Yes. To apply for Seoul Tech, students should have TOPIK level 3 or above.(Applicants for Creative Writing are required TOPIK Level 6).
Only the applicants for the College of Art & Design, Programs & Majors in Graduate School of Art ․ Graduate School of Engineering will be the exception of the language proficiency requirement.
If you want to apply for one of the programs offered in 100% English(MSDE, ITM, or GTM), you must submit the result of English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, and TEPS instead of TOPIK result.
What is "conditional admission"?
Students who do not meet the minimum requirements for Korean proficiency may be granted conditional admission. If granted conditional admission, the student will be required to enroll in a Korean language program and to receive a TOPIK Level 3 within a year. The Language program registration confirmation should be submitted after paying the tuition fee.

Does the certificate of deposit balance have to be under the applicant’s name?
The depositor's name has to be under the applicant or one of his/her parent’s name.(For graduate applicants, their supervisor can also be their sponsor. In that case, the applicants must submit the letter of financial support from their supervisor instead the certificate of bank deposit.)
Can I submit the required documents online?
No. After apply online, applicants must submit the documents in person or by post.
Will all courses be taught in English?
There are some courses which are offered in 100% English(ITM, GTM, and MSDE in the College of Business and Technology).
Other departments offer their courses mostly in Korean, but they also offer about 20% of their courses in English.
Does the applicant have to be in Korea when applying?
No, you can apply for Seoul Tech even though you are not in Korea. You must prepare, however, all the required documents as their original version and submit them by post.
Are applicants with permanent residence or citizenship to other countries eligible to apply?
Applicants must have held the citizenship of countries other than Korea. His/ her parents must hold the citizenship to that country as well. (Permanent resident card holders are not eligible to apply)
If the applicant’s parents are divorced or dead, how will I prepared the documents?
International students must prepare official documents to prove the family relationship such as birth certificate, divorce certificate, and/or death certificate along with the certificate of Family Relationships.
